I am planning to use AC21 by joining a company on this March month end , I asked new company to process H1, and its in progress.
In APRIL Visa Billiton my PD is current, as I have PD of JUNE 2001( EB2), my RD - JUNE 29, 2007 .at this stage if I change company what is the impact on my GC approval. Should I wait for some more time to join the new company?
Your advices are appreciated

can you reword the title? I am not sure how that title is accurate given the background of how macaca was used: Sidharth (who was born and raised in the US, but is of of Indian origin) was called Macaca by George Allen because of the color of his skin. Getting a GC or not getting a GC does not change the color of one's skin so it does not stop people from calling you a macaca...

I thought it was E-verify and our bill with some sunset bills. Now he excluded those things and added last item which Republicans never supports. So he is making this as suicide bill . This is all about politics. See how they turned back in last minutes. Now they created a image of Immi friendly but eventually they didn't fight for us. Bob was Anti in beginning and he introduce recapture so get our support now after becoming popular among us and our friends , relatives he is officially not stopping bill but killing it.

Since Senate passed the CIR bill last year, is it necessary for the Senate to pass a bill again this year?
If the House manages to pass CIR this year, wouldn't a committee (Senate & House members) meet and chalk of the difference and come to a common ground?
Pending legislation from last year were part of a different congress (house+senate), and all bills from last congress, that failed to become law, expired at the beginning of this year when a new Congress took charge. That's why CIR is being re-introduced in both the house and senate.

Now is this for a RFE where a notarized copy is specifically asked ?
My dad just scanned my BC and e-mailed it and I took a print out of that and sent it for the I-485. (No RFE)
Why do you need the originals ? There is no requirement to get it notarized as well.

Hello All,
My wife's AP was sent out on NOV13th according to online status and we didnt receive it till now and I called the USCIS today and the rep we didnt receive it back as undelivereable & once its once out of our office its not their concern & told re-applying is the only option.
Issue?: My wife went to INDIA and she is on L1 and I was wondering when I re-apply her AP here, can she enter while her AP is pending approval ?
her L1 is valid till June 2010.
What are our options, please advise.

But you may be able to apply for transfer and 3 year extension with the new employer after you get your I-140 approval. Pls check with your lawyer.

I had my stamping done in Kolkata consulate on 03/02/2011, they asked me to switch off the cell phone and hand it over to security, security gave me a number tag and I was able to collect my cell from security after my interview.

I doubt if immigration would be on his plate for next 8-10 months because of economic downturn. His administration would be busy focusing on taxes, banking reforms, health care, pulling out of Iraq etc. If recession goes away quickly than hoped only then we can expect something about it...
With just 14 days left, it is getting more and more clear tht Obama is going to be the president of the US for atleat next 4 yrs, unless some miracle change the race in coming days. And Projected Senate looks like, democrats will have 60 or almost there which is required to bypass a filibuster and Dems would be incresing their lead in House.
Dont we have to strt sending emails to Obama,Pelosi and Reid after Nov 4th.

I got the 140 denial notice.....the reason was not clear...here it is......
The petitioner did not submit an individual labour certification for the beneficiary or evidence of schedule A designation.As such, the beneficiary is ineligible for classification as a member of the preofessions holding an advanced degree or an alien of exceptional ability.
Can i know what reason did u got in ur 140 denial notice.

This is my situation
I am from Pakistan and I do have Canadian PR also. I applied I-824 on August 5, 2008 and it got approved very fast on January 16, 2008 IN just 5 and half months and I have written that I want to process my case in Toronto Canada not from Pakistan now I have the following question
1-on approval notice the petitioner name and the beneficiary name is the same don�t u guys thing the beneficiary name should be my wife name
2-DO all FTJ cases are processed through NVC. Or only some of them... because Islambad embassy accept cases from NVC only they told me that I-824 has to be approved and then UCIS will send your case to NVC and then case will be sent to islamabad but is this the same procedure for canada because I-824 approval notice says that they have notified tornto consulate that I am the permenant resident thats all. I 824 do not have even my wife name?? Can any body tell me clearly that does every body who files I-824 has to go through NVC or in case of Canada we can go to consulate and start the case?
3-If NVC is involved in my case then how long file will stay at NVC and how long the consulate in Toronto will take to complete the process.

My question is that 1) Do I need to resign from my current job to get a L2 visa stamping on my passport? 2) If not required, do I need to carry any form or letter from the company that I am on long leave/vacation to show it to the US consulate officier?
