Dear All,
It seems my company had audit and my employer was asked to submit client letters for all employees.
Q's is will it have any impact on 485 process for the employees in case of any issues in the company in other areas ?

One other question. CAn I submit a query to DOL and find the status of it. Are employees allowed to do that. I remeber sending them email a while ago, and they never replied. if there is a method of obtaining this information, can somebody pleae direct me to that.

Buddy, you will need to send only one AR-11 but will need to call in your change of address for every application. One phone call will cover it all, but make sure you tell the Customer service person that you needed this to be changed for every case. Then you will get a confirmation letter at your mailing address for every case that you changed address on. That is what I had to do on my 485 and EAD application.
Also if you have any dependents over 21 (like spouse) then make sure your spouse is next to you or calls in separately to the Customer service. They will not allow you to speak for your spouse. You could do so for dependents under 21 though.

If you are not a U.S. citizen and you have a case pending with USCIS you need to do both - call customer service and complete the Form AR-11. The AR-11 is used by non-U.S. citizens to meet the legal requirements of informing USCIS of any change of address. Presently, completing an AR-11 does not update your address on any pending case. If she entered without inspection she will have to process her green card in her home country unless you can get a waiver. But if she came here legally and her I-94 expired you may be in luck. You will have to file I-130, and I-485 for her. You will also have to submit I-130 for her son who will apply for an immigrant visa in Nicaragua. You may want to talk to an immigration attorney who will be in a better position to direct you on this.
Also this forum is mainly targeted at employment-based immigration and you may not get answers here for a family-based immigration issue.

Hi,
I am wondering what conclusion (if any) can be drawn from LUD? On USCIS website my I-140 case shows LUD to be 05/09/2007 and hence was wondering what does it mean ? When I click on my case on the online case status website (of USCIS) still provides old data only and does not reflect the status for LUD...

Yes you can apply for EAD and AP separetly anytime
The only catch I found out recently is that when you use AP to travel back to US, this may invalidate the H visa and you will need EAD.
I am still not clear of this issue. I applied for EAD few months ago and found out this may be an issue , so have applied for AP (By e-filing) now
Using AP to travel does not invalidate the H1...AP is just a travel document, and does not determine one's status in the country. The H1 would be invalidated only if the person switches to EAD.

Sorry, I could not locate the thread about address change. I am moving at the end of this month to a new address in a neighboring suburb. I have an approved I-140 and a pending I-485 with AP and EAD in hand.
My wife has a pending I-140 and a pending I-485 with AP and EAD in hand.
Is filling an online AR-11 sufficient? Does this update our I-485 and other pending/approved applications automatically. Please advise.

FATCA establishes a MINIMUM penalty of $10,000 for failure to report foreign ASSETS over $50,000 on your tax return. FATCA filing is required in addition to FBAR filing. Who ever filed FBAR, please be aware of this new law from next year onwards , since the penalty is so high.

First time I applied Labor Certification (LC) in 2004(pending, not approved or denied) and second time I applied on PERM without porting the first Labor application date with same company, same catagory(EB3) and same job description which approved with PD Feb 2006. I applied 485 on july last year when all PD were current.
Question: Can I port my PD from the first Labor application date now.

I got my checks encashed to day and when I looked at the status of my I-485 application online it says

Please suggest me the best option as i am still undecided.
My employer terminated my employment when I lost my job with the client company during 2nd week of June 2009. Before termination, my employer filed my GC and I have my EB2- 140 approved (PD- Feb 2007) and also My previous H1 extended last year 2008 and they have issued my visa for another 3 yrs (3rd term in H1). Since then I am without job and looking for an opportunity. But to be on safe side I left the country before the 30 days of my termination. I came back to US on H4 visa (so that I will be in-status and my GC won't get affected).
Now i am getting an opportunity for a FT position with a company and now I am undecided what to do? If I took the FT with a new company and then my GC process will start from beginning (applyng labor and then once approved (don't know how long it will take to approve labor in EB2) I can then file for 140 porting my previous approved 140 -eb2 with PD Feb 2007) or Just wait until I find a contract job and go through my previous employer and continue my GC process from where it is left.
Currently the PD for EB2-I is in 2005. So should I wait and go smoothly with my previous employer (but still we don't know how long it will take) or go with the FT.
Please suggest me.

Im having some issues with the marquee control, as soon as I put it in a project I want to use it in, I get the following runtime error: InvalidOperationException - _brushTransform name cannot be found in the name scope of System.Windows.Shapes.Rectangle.Any ideas?
