What are the chances for the people who applied on July 1 ?

I have an approved 140 and applied for 485 got by EAD and done my FP, however recently i got married and i want to know how do i add my wife to my current 485 status ??
My employer lawyer says ; 485 dates should be current to add my wife ?? is that true ??

My PD is not in this range. Mine is July-2001 kind of >= 2002.
I have seen an ALIA observation on EB2 Retro. Trying to figureout how soon these Visa #'s for EB2 catagory is vanished. I will have an analysis from this will post here.
This polls just captures two recent retors one for Jan & Other for Feb. I just pulled EB-2 dates from VB and thrown a random survey.

I filed my I-485 in July 07 at Nebraska service center and my wife had her finger printing done a month or so ago but I am yet to get the notice. Is there some number I can call and check. My Lawyer is very uncooperative in this case.

You are eligible for 1yr extensions. If your I-140 is approved, you can get 3 yr extensions. Since you are saying it is NIW, it is always better to be on H1 because those cases are approved after intense scrutiny. Where was your I140 application sent?

What happens when there is a problem with I-485: Denial or NOID ?
If denial, and in US, MTR can be filed and if MTR accepted, the period (from Denial) is considered as legal stay (even if not maintaining H1b status).
But if denial, and outside US, you can NOT enter on AP. Correct ? Here only option to enter US is H1b ? Can MTR be filed ?

That is correct. If your employer is enrolled in E-verify then he needs to updated your information in that system otherwise just keep the form for record.

My EAD is going to expire in 3 months and I am filing for my renewal now. What can be done if you don't get the EAD renewal response before the expiry of the current one ?

Anybody knows more ?
