I've waited so long for the white iPhone 4 that I no longer care for an iPhone 4 and will simply wait for the iPhone 5. The delay in shipping the white iPhone 4 cost Apple a sale. It's not like my iPhone 3G stopped working when the iPhone 4 was released.

AT&T has always wanted to increase prices across the board whenever they have a product that is going to sell well
They never give an actual answer as to why thus it is pretty easy to see that they are doing it strictly to get more money and little to do with actual increases in costs.

Hey guys, n00b question here: I recently bought iFlat4 HD for my fourth gen iPod Touch. It's an amazing theme and I love it, but I just saw iFlat 2 HD on Themeit. Just wanted to know witch ones newer and better and what the differences are. Another thing is when I applied iFlat4 the Camera, Maps and Photos icons stayed stock, any way to fix this?

I am all against this nostalgia gaming. U have so many great games available on the ipad or iphone that utilise their potencial, why would u wanr to play games that have 12 pixels running around? I think it has more to do with people remembering the "good old times" when they havent had all that depression, fear and insecurity going on.
I played Atari up through super nintendo. I stopped at that point partly due to the games appearing to play themselves. If you ask young people to go back and try to play Zelda or link from beginning to end, you often hear "its too hard". The point of the old games was to be challenging; not to be a movie disguised as a game.
I'll admit that recently when I played an older game I was disappointed but then I realized I was doing something wrong. I was hitting the continue button. The older games are better if you challenge yourself to score as high as possible on one credit or compete with a second person on one credit.
You know the new games would be more interesting if played like that too. These first person shooter games are ridiculous because you keep getting back up after dying. The thing is that it doesn't seem as boring to play like that because the scenery of the game keeps changing. But try having two people play as far as possible with one life or three if that is standard and go as far as possible on that. I bet it is a better game if you play with the rul that you start over when you die in the game.

Once again, I am not siding with the seller. His selling privileges will be rightfully revoked. He clearly violated eBay's terms of service.

Is there an easy way to quickly minimize WoW on OS X? When my brother plays on Windows, he just hits the keyboard button with the windows logo on it and it minimizes it. The reason I want to do this is so I can quickly switch between WoW and Safari. Any suggestions?

I dont have .mac, but I do run my own mail server from home, and use squirrelmail... i like the look of the new .mac webmail....
all i need now is for someone to release a simular setup, opensource for me to d/l and install... mmmmm
I think it does look nice. I just hope this is include in Leopard server as well. I would love to run my own mail server with this type of webmail interface.
Try RoundCube (http://www.roundcube.net/). Pretty similar, works well for my IMAP webmail systems. :) ;)

Ok, so it seems the developer has kick up a bit of furore on this one.. ;)
Personally, I don't mind paying the �1.79 again to buy Tweetie 2 - at the end of the day it hardly breaks the bank. I'm not disgusted by it because he needs to keep making money somehow. (Although it looks like this developer may now be quite well off, judging by its ranking in the Top Grossing list ;))
But I do get this underwhelming feeling when I use Tweeite 2 - as it seems others do - and I think this stems from a few things:
1) In some ways, the new app is not 'better' than the first Tweetie - the UI is not so nice (an opinion), the speed is not so silky smooth (less of an opinion, bit more fact) and it doesn't even seem to do everything that Tweetie 1 did. In fact, I'm struggling to see - for my uses at least - what this version achieves that the first one didn't. And the implementation is not so nice either. What is the 'killer app' in version 2? :confused:
2) The idea that it was built from the ground up again. As the developer puts it - "I didn't just add a feature and change the version number. That's lame." Problem is, Tweetie 1 did not have any flaws or shortcomings in its implementation and was silky smooth and fast, at least for me. Tweetie 2 doesn't quite deliver that, which is why I'm left disappointed.
3) Tweetie 1 had 'wow' factor, Tweetie 2 doesn't.
4) The new icon is horrible (a matter of opinion, of course ;))
5) In deleting the first app from the store, Tweetie 1 has been end of life'd. Therefore, this version effectively stifles any upgrades to version 1, including any potential bug fixes.
6) The new version is underwhelming (did I say that already? :D)
Of course, one advantage of declaring Tweetie 2 as a whole new app is that it does give me the freedom to 'downgrade' back to Tweetie 1!!! I know which version of the app will be sitting on my iPhone's front page...

It's called the 'semantic web'. You may want to look it up. Decent web designers have been designing this way for some time where they can and the W3 want everyone to go this way.
I think this makes us web programmers rather than designers.
It will only break your site design if your site design is badly designed in the first place.
Then please go visit www.csszengarden.com and see how user-applied changes break their designs to the point where elements are covered by others. Those designs usually apply to the W3 standards, and I bet they are far better at this things than either you or me.

4.3.1 is terrible on the 4th gen iPod touches. Home screen animations lag and more often than not skip totally. battery life is down, apps from the multitasking tray aren't usable upon switching to them for a few seconds - it's just terrible.
Thankfully, I had been jailbroken so I'm back on 4.2.1.

I don't think this one has been mentioned.... I think Microsoft's Remote Desktop is a wonderful app. I have had my iBook for almost a year now and Remote Desktop was one of the major reasons I decided to delve into the Mac world. I go to a college with abundant wireless access and I can basically use my Mac as both a Mac and PC (Remote Desktop allows you to remotely log in to a windows machine). And don't just on me for this.....there are some programs at school we have to use that are Windows only.... :rolleyes:
